2016 Season - Week 18 (Cont)
Best Wildcard Team
For $7.5m you could have scored 63 points, so why didn’t you choose QB Aaron Rodgers ($3m-12pts), Kicker Nick Novak ($0.5-9), WR Randall Cobb ($1m-18), RB LeVeon Bell ($2m-12) & any two from WR Andre Holmes, WR Paul Richardson, RB Damien Williams, WR Davante Adams or RB Aaron Ripkowski (all $0.5m-6pts).
NFL Wildcard Weekend
The wildcard games were not very good this year with each of the home teams winning easily. The away sides, hampered by injured quarterbacks who couldn’t play (Oakland and Miami), an injured QB who played but has been less effective since breaking his finger (Detroit) or just having Eli Manning at QB (NY Giants) were all well beaten. Oakland lost by the smallest margin, still a far too large13 points, as Houston were victorious 27-14. In the other matches Pittsburgh beat Miami 30-12, Seattle defeated Detroit 26-6 and the Packers thumped the Giants 38-13. Last year all 4 away teams won, this year was very different. So it’s Pittsburgh (#3) @ Kansas City (#2) & Houston (#4) @ New England (#1) in the AFC and Seattle (#3) @ Atlanta (#2) & Green Bay (#4) @ Dallas (#1) in the NFC Divisional round as all things went to form last weekend.
